SBD Powerlifting Belt.

A powerlifting belt is a sturdy, wide belt designed to provide support and stability to your core and lower back during heavy lifts. Made from leather and suede, the SBD powerlifting belt is one of the highest performing powerlifting belts on the market. Used by world champions like Taylor Atwood, Jesus Olivares, Jessica Buettner and Natalie Richards, it is the most trusted, high quality and robust belt in the world.

Athletes use powerlifting belts to:

- Improve stability and support for the core and lower back

- Reinforce proper lifting form and technique

- Increase intra-abdominal pressure for improved performance

- Reduce the risk of injury

Incorporating a powerlifting belt into your training can significantly enhance your lifting capacity. Whether you're an experienced lifter or just starting out, a powerlifting belt is a crucial accessory for safe and effective strength training.

We sell the SBD belt in sizes ranging from XS right up to 2XL. The belt can also be found in sizes up to 5XL.

We’d encourage you to come in to our store where our staff can help make sure you get the right size for you.

SBD Knee Sleeves.

Knee sleeves are a type of supportive gear worn around the knees. Made of neoprene, they are designed to fit snugly around your knee joint.

What do they do?

Knee sleeves provide compression and support, which helps to stabilise the knee joint during heavy lifting. This compression increases blood flow helping to prevent injuries and enhance performance.

Who are they for?

Knee sleeves are essential for powerlifters, weightlifters, and anyone involved in high-intensity, strength-training. They are also beneficial for athletes recovering from knee injuries or looking to add extra protection during their training sessions.

Athletes use knee sleeves to:

- Improve stability and reduce the risk of injury

- Enhance performance by maintaining warmth and increasing blood flow

- Gain confidence to lift heavier weights safely

Incorporating knee sleeves into your training can make a significant difference in your performance and long-term joint health. Whether you're a seasoned powerlifter or just starting, knee sleeves are a smart investment for protecting your knees and boosting your lifting potential.

There are three types of SBD knee sleeves. In order of support they are the weightlifting knee sleeves, regular knee sleeves and powerlifting knee sleeves.

SBD weightlifting knee sleeves

SBD Weightlifting Knee Sleeves.

The SBD weightlifting knee sleeves are 5mm in thickness and their length scales with the size. They provide a comfortable but firm level of support, suitable for all levels of trainees including powerlifting, weightlifting, bodybuilding and general strength training. They can be worn throughout your entire training session with minimal discomfort.

SBD standard knee sleeves

SBD Standard Knee Sleeves.

By far the most popular of the knee sleeves, the standard powerlifting knee sleeve provides enough support for the competitive powerlifter while being comfortable enough for the general trainee. 7mm in thickness and 30cm in length, it maxes out the legal dimensions of a knee sleeve for powerlifting competition.

SBD Powerlifting Knee Sleeves.

The latest model to hit the market, the SBD Powerlifting Knee Sleeve is the most heavy duty version yet. The stiff, thick design means it can be quite uncomfortable but in return, you get plenty of support. We would generally only recommend these sleeves for the serious competitive powerlifter.

SBD Elbow Sleeves.

Elbow sleeves, much like knee sleeves, are compression garments designed to support and protect your joints. They are made from neoprene, ensuring a snug fit around your elbows.

Elbow sleeves provide consistent compression and warmth to the elbow joint. This compression increases blood flow and stabilises the joint during heavy lifts, helping to prevent injuries and improve overall performance.

Elbow sleeves are ideal for powerlifters, weightlifters, and athletes engaged in repetitive arm movements or heavy lifting. They are especially useful for those recovering from elbow injuries or dealing with chronic elbow pain, offering support and comfort during workouts.

Much like knee sleeves, athletes use elbow sleeves to:

- Enhance joint stability and reduce the risk of injury

- Improve performance by maintaining warmth and increasing blood flow

- Reduce muscle fatigue and support faster recovery

- Gain confidence to lift heavier weights safely

The SBD elbow sleeves are 5mm in thickness and super comfortable to be worn. The warmth they provide can keep your elbows feeling strong and ready from start to finish of your training session. Suitable for not only powerlifters but bodybuilders, general strength trainees, gymnasts and calisthenics athletes too.

SBD Wrist Wraps.

Lifting wrist wraps are supportive bands designed to stabilise and protect your wrists during heavy lifting. Made from durable, elastic materials, they wrap securely around your wrists, providing essential support and preventing excessive movement.

Lifting wrist wraps are ideal for powerlifters, weightlifters, and athletes engaged in heavy lifting or repetitive wrist movements. They are particularly beneficial for exercises that put significant stress on the wrists, such as bench presses, overhead presses, and even low bar squats.

Athletes use lifting wrist wraps to:

- Enhance wrist stability and support during heavy lifts

- Maintain proper wrist alignment and form

- Reduce strain and fatigue on the wrist joint

- Prevent injuries and improve overall lifting performance

Incorporating lifting wrist wraps into your training can make a significant difference in your performance and wrist health. Whether you're a seasoned lifter or just starting out, wrist wraps are a valuable accessory for safe and effective strength training.

The SBD wrist wraps come in two varieties (stiff and flexible). We find the stiff wrist wraps to be far too tough for the majority of people and so we only stock the flexible wrist wraps. For 95% of use cases, these are great.

There are three lengths; short, medium and long. Again, most people will best fit the medium length wrist wraps but we encourage you to come in to our store so we can help you choose the right size for you.

SBD Competition Suit.

A powerlifting singlet, also known as a powerlifting soft suit, is a specialised, stretchy one-piece garment designed for competitive powerlifting. Its tight fit ensures that there is no excess fabric to get in the way.

Singlets are mandatory in powerlifting competitions to permit referees to accurately adjudicate the competition.

Athletes use powerlifting singlets to:

- Comply with competition regulations

- Minimise distractions and optimise focus during lifts

- Ensure a full range of motion without interference from loose clothing

The SBD soft suit is one of the highest quality soft suits available on the market. Having specific mens and womens designs means the fit is much more flattering and comfortable than other brands on the market.

We’d encourage you to come in to our store so you can try it on to make sure you you find the size that best fits you.

SBD Deadlift Socks.

Deadlift socks are specially designed, high-cut socks intended for use during deadlifting. Made from durable, stretchy materials, they provide a snug fit that offers both comfort and protection.

Deadlift socks protect your shins from abrasions and cuts caused by the barbell during deadlifts. The high-cut design and reinforced fabric reduce friction between your skin and the bar.

They are mandatory in competition to ensure safety and hygiene.
